What is Lux AC Battery Storage?
Works with Agile, Go & Outgoing tariffs.
The Lux AC battery storage system Ideal for customers who already have Solar PV and are looking to store residual generated power to either use in the evening or to sell back on the Octopus Outgoing tariff.
The Lux Power LXP 3600 AC Controller is the most advance AC battery storage solution that we have represented. The system allows for flexibility of quantity of battery packs to be fitted, adding additional batteries is extremely simple.

What is Lux Squirrel Pod Battery Storage?
Works with Agile & Go tariffs.
The Lux Squirrel Pod battery storage system Ideal for customers with or without Solar PV.
The Lux Squirrel Pod opens up a new market of modular battery storage with or without a solar system. Each Squirrel Pod will create 3.5kWh of charge or discharge capacity, so adding a second pod creates max 7kw. Each Pod can have 1-8 batteries attached. The Squirrel Pod utilises variable cheap Green tariffs set by Octopus Energy which you can use to fill your batteries and use this energy to power your home when tariffs are high and without installing Solar.

What is Lux Hybrid Battery Storage?
Works with Agile, Go & Outgoing tariffs.
The Lux Hybrid battery storage system Ideal for customers who already have Solar PV and are looking to store residual generated power to either use in the evening or to sell back on the Octopus Outgoing tariff.
With our Lux Power Hybrid Inverter your solar system will generate power in the same way as your old common grid-tie Inverter but by using our special hybrid Lux Power inverter and Aobo batteries you can now store your energy for later use. This ability to store energy enables most hybrid systems to also operate as a backup power supply during a blackout, similar to a UPS system.
Traditionally the term hybrid referred to two generation sources such as wind and solar but more recently the term ‘hybrid solar’ refers to a combination of solar and energy storage which is connected to the electricity grid.

This allayed several concerns I had relating to positioning of the kit and the cable connection to our consumer unit. Also, being a recipient of FIT payments for my existing solar panels meant that I needed reassurance that the proposed 7.2kwh LUX and AOBOET system would not impact on these payments. Mark took time to explain in detail how this would be achieved.
An installation date was agreed and the install took place on that date and went very smoothly. A neat and tidy job too.
